My two cents

If you received my email then you got a little taste as to what this is all about. Ben explained a little bit but I want to put my two cents in about the program. If we are selected this vehicle would be our daily driver for approx. three months. The vehicle is hydrogen fueled and lucky for us we there is a fueling station in Burbank already. The vehicle is decked out with decals of hydrogen molecules, GM, basically branding galore and just above the exhaust tips a decal that reads "zero emissions," which is my favorite part :)

If selected and if you see us driving around please don't turn away just because we are driving a billboard. Honk if you care about the environment!

Getting down to the nuts and bolts...GM is conducted this project in order to analyze the vehicles performance with everyday driving by different drivers. They also want consumer comments and reactions about the vehicle and the technology. Therefore we will be posting exciting information about the vehicle and we invite you to post your questions and comments!

The vehicle was already driven by Army personnel just to give you a little background information for the project.

Chevy and the Fuel Cell

Equinox Fuel Cell Vehicle Project

Project Driveway is off at full steam, and I am trying to stay on top of it. Chevrolet is heavily investing in the Fuel Cell effort, trying to help promote National independence from Oil-producing countries, and eventually cleaning up the environment.

If you haven't heard, they will be working with 100 average consumers to place Fuel Cell Vehicles into the public. This is similar to the amazing and popular EV1 project, only much more specific and targeted. I am doing everything possible to try to be on that select list. My wife, Jackie, and I are very excited for Fuel Cell technology and especially we are excited to help Chevrolet work to comply with the emissions requirements that the government is mandating.

Please check back regularly for new info and updates as they develop. And don't forget to check Chevy's site! http://www.chevrolet.com/fuelcell/

Thank you!
